The question that has never been answered is how and why was the dock allowed to deteriorate to that kind of condition in the first place. One would think that the Village would have had some kind of maintenance program in place to prevent such an event from happening.
Where else could a big black dog steal the show from the politicians!
Maybe the reason for the docks falling apart is the same reason for bridges thru out the world falling down. How many times do we read about that? So it happened. Thankfully it was in the winter not the summer. It is now fixed and lets get the rest of them rebuilt also.
Nothing has changed. It's a nice dock poorly run. All last weekend very young workers with no oversite are working the dock. The workers do the best they can without supervision. Boats are parked just far enough apart so other boats can not get in. Would it be hard to direct boaters to tie up closer? These kids are getting taken advantage of too. The Dock police have no clue accept hot to fill out tickets.
