Great pictures, Jim. Please thank CFB for the free plug.
Hey, take it where you can get it...
Next year, I will be open all winter to cater to all the winterfest events.
Hi to all my friends, from sunny Florida where all us rich merchants are languishing in the sunshine....Poor John

Poor John is ok with a vendor food permit for the Snolf Event for Bud, but he won't allow the local girls hockey team to sell food at the pavilion during the motorcycle event. What's wrong with a few dollars for the cause of girls hockey. The village is so busy during this event they aren't going to take food of Johns table or $$$'s from his pocket.
You need to CHILL OUT John, they aren't hurting anyone and no one else is complaining

Hockey Mom
You need to take a chill pill.....get your gossip straight......PJ is all for the local non for profit fund raisers like the girls hockey

J.C. that's not what I heard on your tape from the village meeting two weeks ago. John clearly implied he did not want anyone including local not for profit's selling food at chamber events. I understand for profits but local not for profits is hurting our community NOW!
Let's be realistic and why listen to one chronic complainer who gives nothing to this community but critisism and wineing!
Thank you-minor hockey dad

MH Dad,

YOU ARE WRONG!

This ordinance was brought up by John because the COC was applying for permits as a not for profit organization. Which They are not! Nobody, John included has any problem with NOT FOR PROFIT groups obtaining permits to sell items at special events for a fund raiser. Listen to that audio again [31:00] and try to listen objectively this time!

Hockey Mom and Dad....(if that's who you really are.) Pay attention, attend VB meetings. I'm trying to get the village board to enforce their own ordinances to protect groups like yours.
By the way, why didn't you come forward last year and provide food at the pavillion for the Bike Rally?
Ms Compo, chairwoman of the event, claims you
were all invited to use this event as one of your fundraisers. No one stepped up.
I will happily debate this issue with you if you would like to identify yourselves.
In fact, if your non profit group provides a food concession at the pavillion for the Bike Rally, I will be happy to provide some equipment a food donation and expert advice.
The world needs fewer uninformed windbags like you two.
You have no idea how much the DOWNTOWN MERCHANTS give to the local non profits, no idea.
