So during the entire Pirate Days event visitors to our town got to trample in goose poop. Way to go Village Board.. way to go !!

Not only did they trample in it but sat in it and put their hands on it and ate their pizza or subs, shook hands with people, touched door knobs, wiped their hands on their clothes, Basically you can say that our guests, the tourists took a little of Abay Hospitatlity home with them......

That is sad!! How many do you think made that a reason to NOT come back next year?
"way to go village board"; Come on! Listen to the last vb meeting audio (tues 8/12). the vb is trying many different things to eliminate the poop. yes they are trying!
Maybe Curmudgeon could create a Goose Poop flavored milkshake and call it the Casino to commemorate the event?
I am not sure why the village has not done what the TI Club has done. But it is working and not hard to impliment. They have two stuffed fox's displayed by the pond where the geese tend to gather by the hundreds (I would say at least). I would suggest the same thing or even a stuffed dog. HELLO!!! It is working great and NO GEESE at the pond anymore. I would like to see our "village board use their heads" Some of the things I have seen and heard have been unreal. How they make choices and decisions just seems like they are not well thought out. Just whatever seems right at the moment. Also would love to see them actually follow through with something to the end. (the tree has yet to be trimmed on church street that is next to the parking spaces that where taken away).
That fox looks so real, I almost took a shot at it. The geese were not there either. I don't know how long you can fool them, but it seems to be working.
Just because they taste good doesn't mean they're all that smart.
