The village is losing 2 great guys. I wish them success and happiness. Maybe Pitts will stick around part time.

Officer Pitts did mention in his letter of resignation that he would like to be considered for part time work.

Maybe someone on our village board will start paying attention to WHAT IS IMPORTANT-- getting rid of a chief who can't pass the chief's test in the first place and getting a real chief or putting a superior officer in charge and doing away with a chief for a few years. If the Tax payer truely new everything they would be surprised at how many lawsuits have been brought again to our village and because of the police department wrong doings. As far as Roger Jobson-he did the best he could with what he had to work with. "HERE'S TO KEEPING LOCALS IN TOWN." I believe that was a quote from a Village Trustee running for office. Actually I believe most of them HAD that comment. I was walking from school last evening and heard cars racing all around the school--did we have any law enforcement on last evening? Probably not!! We need law enforcement around that school and rink after school activities. Kids will be kids and they really do not understand the reprocusions of bad choices while driving.

This is sad. Roger has worked here for years and is a loyal employee. Jon Pitts has been an asset too. That's one thing that bothers me the most about our Town/Village is that our young people do not stick around.

Officer Pitts was FIRED today by the Chief. What is wrong with this Village Board?

I heard a motion made, seconded and passed by the VB ..."to accept the resignations of DPW Supervisor Jobson and Officer Pitts, WITH REGRET.
What's to regret if you're going to fire one of them an hour later?
Next, please?
I just read the help wanted ad for a new DPW Supv in the T.I. Sun. I've seen classier ads for a sandwich maker at the local Sub Shop.
