During the whole process of selecting a candidate for the COP position, The VB found fault with Jefferson County Civil service! The mayor at one point commented " if we knew then what we know now".... That was in response to what the board thought of civil service laws! I guess that the board felt that excuse was not working for them..........VB you lost good candidates because of what you did during those interviews.......

anyone who legitimately tried to vote for anyone other then Jimmy Marshall should have noticed that the polls were bullshit. One vote for Brian = 3 votes for Jimmy. Try harder next time Jim ;)
Anon aug 4 9:37....any poll is unscientific....but once the blogger poll is set into motion there is absolutely no tampering with it. So what is your point? That you can not stand the fact that your boy was not in the lead?
