In Memory of Paul "Captain" Wibbe

Alexandria Bay:

He was the Captain Of The Bay!

I made this video portrait  of Captain about a year ago.  When he first saw this he gave me a hug and bought me a beer.  It does not get any better than that.

VIDEO PORTRAIT.... Some draw, some paint. Portraits should reflect the personality, likeness, and mood of the person. It should also tell a story giving the viewer some insight into the one portrayed.

In Memory Of Frank Sacci

In Memory Of Frank Sacci Sr. from Jim Cummings on Vimeo.

Bloggers Note:

Back in the mid 60's I was lucky enough to be neighbors with Sacci family.  Music could be heard flowing from all parts of their house 24/7.  One minute it might be one of the kids practicing Little Brown Jug and the next it was one of the others trying to learn the chords to "that British band the Beatles"[as some of our parents referred to them].  I learned to love the Big Band Era as well as Cream, Yardbirds etc.

Frank Sacci was the music ambassador.  If you could not play, Frank could teach you how to listen and Love music.  After all not everyone could play an instrument but everyone can learn to Love Music

A crew wandered the streets of the village on Monday.  Marking the roads with arrows and the letters TWC.  What could these letters stand for? Google them....
